The Immigration and Nationality Act provides for an individual who is an “immediate relative” of a U.S. citizen to become a Permanent Resident of the U.S is a one-step process. An “immediate relative” is defined as a spouse, child, or parent.
Along with the petition for permanent residence, our fee includes the preparation of the petitions for travel authorization and employment authorization. You are responsible only for the filing fees, if you choose to submit these two forms. You receive the travel and work authorization two to three months depending on the work load of the USCIS Processing Office that has jurisdiction over where you live.
